Rare domed Viennese Biedermeier secretaire with spectacularly detailed interior. Walnut and maple on pine. Inlays in ebony, black walnut and maple and original penworks depicting umbrella motif, masonry, radial and parquetry motifs, hairlines, fillets, mythological figures, scrolled foliage with putti, flower baskets, palmettes. Ebonized trim. Finely detailed ebonized balustrades and egg & dart giltwood and verde antico painted molding on the domed top. Temple hall with ebonized columns and 13 secret compartments. Original mirror panels. Arched fronts, lower cabinet arched front with giltwood moldings (interior with a drawer). Egyptian giltwood uprights, inlaid and verde antico painted. Brass mounts. Pasquille lock. Pair of giltwood and verde antico painted paw feet on the front, pair of block feet on the back.
