Pair of Biedermeier stools attributed to Anton Bembe. Walnut on pine. Lyre-shaped upper part with swollen fluted stretchers, padded drop-in seats. Corresponding lyre-shaped lower part. Palmette woodcarvings, turned swollen stretchers. Mainz (South Germany), circa 1830/35.
