This Biedermeier center table, walnut veneered on pine, is first-rate quality. The sunburst table-top with 8 times repeating pattern (walnut root-head veneer) couldn't have been done better: it shows a master cabinet makers work. Apron with molding, developed from the "umbrella" - motif (term by scholar Dr. George Himmelheber, 1979). Hexagonal baluster pedestal. Plinth with 3 splayed and as well matching veneered feet.
