Unequaled Indian 19th century marquetry Rococo console table in walnut. Table-top, frieze drawer, apron, cabriole legs and platform on bun feet magnificently inlaid with multiple hairlines in silver, mother of pearl and exotic woods depicting scrolling foliage, branches, leaves and rosettes.

Exemplary for the uncommon and costly furnishings of the leading social class in 19th Century India which were used to showcase power and wealth of it's owners. Most expensive materials were used and designs which were in fashion in Europe i.e. 19th Century Rococo influenced furniture under the French King Louis Philippe.
