A uniquely designed South German Biedermeier sofa with ebonized parcel gilt Corinthian columns over plinths, supporting the outcurved sides with ebonized column arm-rests. Matching veneered with walnut on pine. Ebonized and gold leaf trim. After 43 years of specializing in Biedermeier furniture, I have seen only two similary designed sofas. South Germany, before 1825.
