Two single "Lombardian" post chairs in walnut and maple with characteristically carved cross boards and inlaid panels. The "Lombardian" chair was created in 16th Century Italy Lombardy and produced in Switzerland as well as in South Germany in the 16th, 17th and up to the 18th Century (than with a more simplified design).
Research suggests that the above 2 single chairs belonged to a larger set.
